Wow! It’s such a blessing to be able to celebrate another birthday. I share a birthday with Bessie Coleman. She was the first African-American woman, and also the first Native-American, to ever earn a pilot’s license. How cool is that? This last year has been extremely difficult for so many people all over the globe. I am forever grateful that God has allowed me another trip around the sun and the opportunity to spend it with my family. Last year, on my birthday, the world received the devastating news that Kobe Bryant died. It was another reminder that no day is promised to us. So this year I decided to take birthday photos and wear this dress that’s been hanging in my closet for a couple of years.
If you’d like to help me celebrate, you can make a donation to my Facebook fundraiser for Sisters of the Skies HERE or a general donation to our scholarships HERE. Thank you for visiting my blog and make sure you subscribe! Enjoy the rest of your week!
