About Me

Hello my FLY peeps and welcome to my blog! Many of you have come to know me as one of the members of the First All-Female African-American Flight Crew. Well, I have a little secret…flying airplanes is not my only passion! I learned how to crochet when I was 5 years old and I l learned how to sew when I was sixteen. I was even the President of the Future Homemakers of America (FHA) in high school-now that’s a little known FLY fact! Once I finished college and began a career in the military and aviation, along with becoming a wife and mother, I very seldom made time to be crafty. But, after following a few great DIY and Fashion Bloggers recently, I decided to pick my needles back up and I fell in love with my passions all over again. I welcome you to follow my journey as I CREATE, DUPLICATE, and EDUCATE. You’ll also get the opportunity to take a glimpse inside my slight obsession with what I call FLY food. So I hope you enjoy taking a peek inside my life Outside the Cockpit!
